Since 2010 l'arte del mondo orchestra has been in residence at Bayer Arts & Culture. Together with its artistic director Werner Ehrhardt, the orchestra performs on historical instruments in the tradition of early music.
The search for exciting new projects that combine innovative artistic approaches with wonderful musical works is one of the orchestra's trademarks. This results in unusual programmes with musical-intercultural encounters, numerous opera projects and the revival of forgotten works. The orchestra regularly collaborates with outstanding soloists such as violinist Daniel Hope, soprano Edita Gruberova or harpist Xavier de Maistre. The ensemble enjoys a worldwide reputation and always provides for very special evenings with performances in the Erholungshaus.
