After the Israeli choreographer Tamir Ginz brought his 14-member Kamea Dance Company to the Erholungshaus for a spectacular reinterpretation of the “Matthäus Passion” (St. Matthew’s Passion), we knew we wanted to invite this troupe again. Now, nearly two years to the day after “Matthew passion 27:27,” the company from Beersheba, Israel, is back with us. This time, the dancers perform Tamir Ginz’s latest work, which at time of print had not yet had its premiere. The question of common identity, community and origin is the point of departure for this work, characterized by its own choreographic voice and the high energy and emotion radiating from the troupe. We are very excited! Further information regarding this event will be published on our website during the season.
