Our popular children's workshops on Saturday afternoons offer all young creatives the opportunity to learn new techniques from professionals and further develop their own ideas.

"Happiness is the only thing that doubles when you share it!" Talismans can be made for yourself or given as gifts to dear friends and relatives. The lucky charms are keepsakes and companions for the whole year.

Saturdays in the workshop! The workshops at the Erholungshaus offer the opportunity to try out materials that you don't have at school or at home and to learn new techniques together with other creative people and professional directors. Together we inspire each other and there are no limits to your imagination. We use a wide variety of materials from jewellery design and from nature. From these we create collages in picture frames and put "good wishes" and resolutions for 2021 in a great light!

Xavier de Maistre is the most important harpist of our days: It is thanks to him that the harp has found its place on the concert stages of the world as a solo instrument. Since he gave up his position as principal harpist of the Vienna Philharmonic in 2010 to devote himself to his solo career, Xavier de Maistre has been a welcome guest of many internationally renowned orchestras and appears with artist colleagues such as Rolando Villazón, Mojca Erdmann and Diana Damrau. François-Adrien Boieldieu's Concerto for Harp and Orchestra is one of the best-known works of the harp literature and will be framed by compositions by Leoš Janáček, Gaetano Donizetti and the fanfare from Paul Dukas ballet La Péri in the concert with the Bayer Philharmonic Orchestra.

This year brings exciting workshops on the topic of sustainability. "Upcycling" means making something new out of old, unused things. Repackaging, discarded and worthless materials are given a second chance and can be turned into bird houses, "Papperlapappschafen", insect quarters or ear pitcher roosts. Anything is possible, because there is enough "rubbish"!

"Upcycling" means not "disposing" of unused things, but making something new. It's very trendy at the moment and keeps designers and artists busy all over the world. We are trying it out and giving packaging a second chance! Tetrapack bird houses, insect quarters in tin cans or earwig roosts in plant bowls... Everything is possible, because there is enough "rubbish"!

Everyone has heard that plastic from cosmetics is a big problem for the water. We do something about it and make our own cosmetics and household products. Our bath bombs, deodorant creams and lip balms are super sustainable and individual!
