On the lookout for the perfect motif
Photographers, both amateur and professional, and video film makers are members of the Society for the Promotion of Artistic Visual Media. Their aim is to engage in-depth with the themes of image and art. As such, they hold seminars on aspects of art, photography, film and image processing. In addition, members have their own photographic studio. They regularly show the results of their work at exhibitions in Leverkusen.

History
The Foto-Film-Club Bayer was founded in 1952 by Martin Hansch and Hermann Bramer and was soon the third-largest photo club in Germany with over 200 members. Between 1992 and 2002 the club was by far the most successful German representative in international competitions. In 2002 the members set themselves new targets and focused their future work more strongly on artistic aspects of the different visual media.
