A concert hall with first-rate acoustics: the Stadthalle in Wuppertal
Only a stone’s throw from Wuppertal’s main railway station is one of the finest concert and conference venues in Germany. The historic town hall, built in 1900 in the Wilhelminian style and renovated in 1995, boasts acoustics to delight even the most exacting of concert-goers. For this reason it is often used for professional CD recordings.

Ideal for soloists and chamber concerts
The historic town hall accommodates around 2,000 people and hosts up to 500 events a year. At Bayer’s Wuppertal site it is the Bayer Arts & Culture's regular choice of venue for events that include the piano recitals. The neo-classical Mendelssohn Room, one of seven performance areas, seats 350 people and is ideally suited for soloists and chamber concerts.
