Concerts by Leverkusen musicians

The Concerts by Leverkusen musicians were founded in 1984 by Elisabeth Jungbluth as a platform for local musicians. Since 2006, Camille van Lunen has been responsible for organizing these events, which Bayer Arts & Culture stages jointly with KulturStadtLev.

Altenberg Summer of Culture

Bayer Arts & Culture has been a partner to the Altenberg Summer of Culture since 2006. To mark the 750th anniversary of Altenberg Cathedral this year, the festival’s new artistic director Werner Ehrhardt has planned some very special concerts, including a Long Night of Music, which will feature the Bayer Philharmonic Orchestra among other ensembles. 32nd Leverkusen Jazz Days

Following the huge success of the Mariza concert in 2010, Bayer Arts & Culture is continuing its cooperation with the Leverkusen Jazz Days this year, sponsoring one of the main concerts. The date and the name of the artist(s) were not known at the time of going to press, but we can be sure that Eckhard Meszelinsky, the artistic director of the Jazz Days, will come up with a top-class, varied and exciting festival programme.
