Ensembles and clubs in Dormagen

Bayer supports three cultural associations at its site in Dormagen: the male voice choir, the music society and the Galerie-Werkstatt art society. One very special location: the 12th-century Knechtsteden Monastery.

The male voice choir is the oldest of the cultural societies. The choir's concerts are of a high artistic standard and form an integral part of Dormagen's cultural events calendar. The music society has been promoting classical instrumental music for over 40 years. The Galerie-Werkstatt has its base at Knechtsteden, a 12th-century monastery. Containing well-equipped studios in which seminars, workshops and lectures are regularly held. The music society and the male voice choir are also frequent visitors to the monastery, where they host their concerts.
